A Lake District Farm Shop

Set in the glorious surroundings of the Lake District, this new series looks into the lives of local farmers, food producers & artisan crafters, whose work is showcased and sold at the family run, Tebay Service Station. In A Lake District Farmshop we meet the service station’s staff, and the businesses that work with this trailblazing pitstop, that has been championing local producers and produce, since it opened in 1972.

Flanked by the Lake District National Park to the West, and the Yorkshire Dales to the East, Tebay Service Station is set in a unique location, in one of the most visited parts of Britain and the business has seen itself grow way beyond the petrol pumps and now offers passing travellers a slice of Cumbria.

Set in the glorious Lake District this lovely new, four- part series looks into the lives of local farmers, food producers and artisan crafters (including Mary Chappelhow of Interlude Ceramics) whose work is showcased and sold at the family-run Tebay Service Station
